Dear
The fixing film rotates in an abnormal way.The reading of the main thermistor is in excess of 100 deg C with the fixing motor in a locked state and, in addition, the machine fails to detect the marker signal.
check the sleeve and main drive assy.
Thanks.
Open adf cover, remove adf pick up unit, two sensor located in it 1. paper leading edge sensor, located upper portion of the unit.2. paper out sensor located back side of the adf pick up unit. Carefully open this unit your will easily find out the sensor location..
Please open the top cover to the Auto Document Feeder (ADF) and examine the paper sensor switch located in the middle area, just before where the paper enters the ADF. You will be looking for a small peice of paper lodged in the sensor, or dust in the sensor. If you detect either, clear it out and try the ADF again.
If you do not see a small "flag" sticking up from the sensor (looks like a backworkds "L") then the sensor has been broken, and will need to be replaced.
DO U HAVE A PAPER IN THE THE ADF .if yes then remove that .if it still blinks then u have to check the sensor in the adf. if that is ok then check the sensor below the adf that is on the left rear end of the machine which is pressed by adf when closed.
Hi guys, This error occurs when paper sensor in ADF = Automatic Document Feeder detects some paper inside paper path. Firs, open ADF access cover and check if some broken paper present inside paper path. If no broken paper found in paper path means paper sensor is faulty and you need got new ADF replacement.
