I have may tag wash model nu mav5920eww i just hooked it up tried reg wash it filled with water then would not continue to wash went to pause mode

You confused it's logic board with too much stuff going on. Try this;

Unplug it from the wall.

Remove the drain hose and lower it into a bucket. FULLY empty the machine.

Now turn it on.

Run a full cycle without stopping or starting. That should reset the logic board.

sp is the code for stand by or pause
so if you have set a soak period then it will stay there until the soak period has finished
if it is sp and you have pressed pause/start extra time the machine is in pause mode until you press start again

There is a thing I believe it is called a water fill valve. It is located where your hoses are hooked to the back of the washer. It is a simple fix. you have two electric solenoids one for the hot water and one for cold. Should be able to take it out with out pulling the back off. Just note where the wires went.

Can you create custom programs? On my top load washing machine I add additional spin cycles to the program.

You need a new timer. It's an easy repair ...

Turn off the water to the washer, unscrew the hoses ( do one completely before moving to the other)Once you unscrew the first hose you will see a small filter screen inside the opening on the washer,Remove the screen and clean it, replace it and reattach the hose,Now go to the other hose and do the same thing, once both are done and hooked back up, turn the waterback on and everything should work as normal.

First try unpluging machine for 5 minutes then re-plug-in and this might reset the computer.

if this is a mechanical timer that controls the cycles. your timer may need replacing but it will not finish the cycle and pause on the fill mode, for the machine will not continue to cycle until the water level has reached your selected load size, a poor/faulty connection at the water valve solenoid, or water level censor can also cause this problem

washer only fills about a cup of water and stops, works on spin
