I have set the thermostat to 74F. But the temperature goes down to 70F. What do I do to maintain it at the set temperature

Thermostats have a swing setting. This means the temperature will fluxuate a little above and below the set temperature. Some thermostats can be adjusted, some don't. Try setting it to 75 and see how low it goes. You might just have to play with the settings until it fits your needs.

Cannot get temperature buttons on hot tub to change

Hi,
Do the other buttons work? Is the control panel locked, some spas have a control panel lock to prevent kids from playing with the temperature. Are any of the buttons stuck in the de-pressed/down position? If neither the problem is likely in your topside control which means it will need to be replaced.

TOO HIGH TEMPERATURES AT MY LAPTOP ACER ASPIRE 5735Z

When the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermaloverload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is theproblem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail.
A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are cloggedwith dust.
Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan.
If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make surethe vents are clear and dust free. Use a small brush and can of compressed airto do this.

New Graphic card gives me a blue screen (or shuts pc down) when I go to play a game after 5 minutes or so and then recovers to reboot. Hello, I have a 2.8 gb CPU/1.5 gb mem/IBM ThinkCentre a50p...

Try reinstalling the drivers from AMD. If that doesn't help the problem, use a program like GPU-Z to monitor the temperature of the graphics card. If a graphics card overheats, it will shut the computer down giving a blue screen.
If it ends up it is overheating, try taking the side of the computer while you're playing a game or installing another fan.

Is there an ambient temperature range outside of which the freezer won't work well? Will it go down to zero degrees?

It seem ambient temperature will not affect so much inside temperature since any freezer has good insulation. Normally freezer will go down to below zero degree

The temperature gauge does not seem to reach full operating temperature. The thermostat has been replaced but the temperature gauge drops if I am on the level or going downhill. The appointed agent says...

it will drop when going down hill and no load on engine ,this is normal ,think the shunt resistor in the gauge could be playing up where by its allowing the gauge to fluctuate a bit too quick, but the old adage applies here if it works leave well alone .Whats the outside temperature ?? this will have a big effect as well ,even more so if its below zero outside ,these cars a massive rad in them .Best advice is polish it and treat leather seats with cream and a nice vac out and it will run perfectly and never go wrong ,just like my sovereign

Having a temperature question/problem. 2005 Jeep grand cherokee 5.7L Hemi 4x4 49,000 Miles. The temperature gauge plays around a lot. goes from the little bar before half temp. to the little bar after...

It sounds normal, but perhaps the radiator is a little small. Make sure the core is clean by blowing it out with compressed air (from the engine side) to clear out bugs and other debris. Make sure the overflow/reserve tank is at the proper level. Check the coolant level in the radiator when engine cold--it should be right at the top of the filler. These are all preventive, not a cure for anything.

Over Temperature

Perhaps one or more of the cooling fans are inoperative. One of the fans is easily accessible by removing the two screws that hold the grille cover on the left side of the set. When you power up this is one of the fans that should kick on. The other fans require removing the back panel and probably will require a service tech for replacement. You can enter the service mode by pressing "Menu"- 619 -"Menu" and going to "INFO" on the menu bar. You can check your system temperature and it may indicate which of the fans is not working.
