Have a 42" LG 42LC2D TV and Sat afternoon it stopped responding to the remote. Would not power off right away then it would eventually shut off, then turned it back on Hit remote on button the relay clicks and green light blinks a few times and stays on solid, but the screen is dark no audio nothing. Any ideas
Hi, sounds like a power supply problem, most likely needs capacitors replaced, costs about £5 to do it yourself, and a fortune in the repair shop, easy enough if your handy or know someone who is,its worth a try,it'll be going in the bin anyway, cam
Check out the z-sus board if one of the fuses has blown.
If so, it is defective and needs to be replaced. but furthermore the power supplies ( +15 V for the gate drivers) has to be checked. I'll bet they are far too low. due to bad capacitors.
