If it was transported likely the set was damaged--one of the three picture tubes used could have been damaged--the flashing light is the set trying to come on and the buzzing is related to whatever is bad.
It sounds like your screen inverter has just gone >bang< unfortunately.
Most screens inside use 2 main circuit boards, and you are most likely going to have to change one of them.
It's possible also for it to have been just the backlight bulb making the loud pop noise too. The inverter may have given out too much power and blown the bulb (a lot like you hear when a house bulb goes bang).
If you can't actually hear any TV sounds (normal sounds like music, voices etc. when they should be there), then it means the problem is more serious, and would need a specialist repair place to check out the electrical circuit inside.
The flashing light is giving you an error code as there has been some sort of failure in the TV. The buzzing sound could be the flyback transformer. Count the number of flashes. I'm sure the code will be for the flyback.
Look in the owners manual for the directions on how to remove the lamp. Your model the lamp goes in from the front on the left looking at the TV. There is a thumb screw in the back on the corner holding the left front speaker on. Under the panel there is another thumb screw holding the lamp door on. You will need a Phillips screw driver to remove the lamp. You will most likely find that the lamp is bad. You will either have to order a lamp directly from JVC, a service center or a parts distributor.
