SOURCE: Hotpoint aquarius WMF740 (1 year old) - noisey spin

its the drum bearings there worn out try opening the door and lifting the top of the drum with your fingers if there is any life and the drum drops back when you let it go its them bearings,, then spin the drum by hand is should grumble or growl,,,if it dont do any of this, it could be the "spider" broken off, its an ally part that holds the drum bearings and the drum up,

SOURCE: hi got hotpoint aquarious wmf740.

Hi

Error F5 means that the pressure switch is jammed on full. This may have happened due to blockage or obstruction in drain hose. To be sure check whether hose is plugged, if not then remove lower rear panel of the washer.
Now you would be able to see drain pump and a large black hose on bottom of drum. Remove the hose from the pump; remember to keep a container near you to collect the water from the filter/pump. Remove and clean the drain filter connected with the pump and hose. Clean the pump and let it dry for a while. Now restart the washer after 2-5 minutes and your issue would be resolved. Please post back for further assistance. Hope this helps...

Hotpoint washer wmf740. I start the cycle and instead of the drum filling up it came gushing out from either underneath or from the back..flooding the kitchen. What's wrong?

bad hose somewhere? either corroded or came loose from a connection? remove cabinet fill with water then look to see where leak is coming from.

Our hotpoint aqurius wont rinse properly on its last cycle it doesnt empty properly

Most probably the pump has partially or completely siezed/failed.

Early machines had the pump in a position where condensation dripped on to the motor and over time caused the motor to seize.

Never worked on a modern Hotpoint but I suspect even if not due to the same cause, pump not running is your best bet.

Hotpoint Aquarius 1100 WM63. fills with water...I dont think it is heating water...rarely rotates and spins (saw it once in early stage of J prog only) seems to fill and empty but no rotate or spin....

if it fill with water then stops it is the ellement the machine first fills turns the drum then heats up the thermostat cuts in and the it emptys rinses and spins so if it does not get to temp it will stop or continue to wash forever
