SOURCE: Digital Life T.V. Model D2133

Hello,

You cannot get the code probably because the universal remote us not compatible for your TV model. Not all universal remote controls work for all TV.

I believe a code should come with the new universal remote and if your TV code is not listed or does not work, then it means it's not for your TV model and it won't work. It might work for some other Digital Life TV but not for yours which is model D2133.

I would suggest you return the remote and replace it with a Harmony universal remote. Harmony remotes doesn't need a code to setup with TV.

Or Contact Digital life via email or phone, request for a remote for your TV and they should either send it to you or direct you to a dealer closer to you for a remote replacement.

I hope you understand the above.

Good luck.

How do I re-program my Remote Control with automatic starter on my 2009 Town and Country Van

My experience with frequently-used vehicle remotes (any make) is this:
1. When relatively new or in good condition, if remote stops working, the button battery inside is dead or too low.

2. If battery is new, & remote still doesn't work, a solder joint on the circuit board inside may have come loose or broken.(You can try re-soldering using a low-heat pencil iron & thin RESIN-core solder -- even if you're not great at it, what do you have to lose?)

3. It's rather unusual for even an older, well-used remote to simply lose its programming. If this is the problem, it may be cheaper to buy a new after-market remote (or pair of remotes) that you can program yourself (only works with some brands & years of vehicles, so READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THEIR WEBSITE BEFORE BUYING AN AFTER-MARKET REMOTE), instead of going to the dealer for a normally HIGH-priced programming job.

4. Used OEM remotes that match yours exactly (check the part # of your remote & the used one you're considering) can often be purchased from a local auto wrecker (now called "auto recycler") for cheap ($5 to $10 is common), but will need programming.I always go thru the many they have, looking for one that appears new or like-new.

5. IF YOU MUST GET PROGRAMMING FROM A DEALER, usually it's the SAME PRICE whether you have 1 remote or several remotes/keys programmed at the same time.Since dealer programming is pricey, I always have 3-4 remotes and/or chip-keys programmed at the same time.(My dear wife loses chip-keys & remotes from time-to-time, so I keep a few spares on-hand.I've found inexpensive after-market chip-key blanks at some key cutters and/or auto parts stores, altho they still require programming after the copy is cut from yours.)

CAUTION
:Some OEM anti-theft systems require that ALL remotes & chip-keys be programmed/re-programmed at the same time, whether they're original, used or new.Determine this IN ADVANCE, so you know what you're faced with. The good news is that for those vehicle manufacturers, dealers normally don't charge more to program/re-program multiple remotes and/or chip-keys, if all are being done AT THE SAME TIME.

6. If all else fails & you MUST buy a new OEM remote (which will require programming), try 2 things -- First, see if the dealer will make you a package deal on buying the remote (or 2 remotes, or a remote & a chip-key) AND doing the programming for a lower combined price.Second, it may be cheaper to buy a new OEM remote from a dealer who's had one in stock for a long time & wants to blow it out (or buy from online OEM seller) & then pay the normal programming price.See the CAUTION above.

There are lots of options here, so hopefully something is useful to you.

I want to program my uhf receiver/ir emitter 106240

Oh boy. here is the problem. i have also a 106240 IR/UHF receiver/transmitter that changes the channels in the satellite box from another room so i can watch them in a second tv at channel 4. the original remote for the 106240 is broken and i bought another UHF remote #153638. So i need to program the new remote to work and link with the 106240 receiver, NOT the satellite box or the tv. Is there any expert here to enlighten us how can be done ? Very simple question :how to program the remote 153638 to link with the 106240. Thank you in advance

I need the code on a paramax audio receiver p-701 for a universal remote.

Hi, you need to refer to you instructions book that came with your RCA remote when you purchased it new. It will have all the codes and instructions on how to program the remote inside the book. But all said and done, even if you find your original manual for your RCA remote and programmed it. It will probably still not work because RCA universal remotes arn't made very well to be compatible to receivers.

I suggest getting your original remote if it is still available. Try going to Replacement Remotes, as they have most all original remotes available and you will not have to program an original remote from them. Search for your model of receiver in their search box.

Ur5u-8780l not operating channels on Magnavox TV. Tried all codes and switched channel control to TV, still nothing.

If you are using a universal do not expect it to even if it programs to have all the functions you need or want or had with the original remote.

Universal remotes are far from UNIVERSAL.

The best argument for an original remote is even if it programs it will just not have all the features needed or wanted that the original had.

Hope this clears things up a little.

Toshiba Color Television 36A43 Lost the original remote and purchased a universal remote. Tried to program using all four systems to no avail. I require the universal remote code to program for this TV

Place one remote on table, place other (new) remote facing old remote, then push the program button on new remote, remotes IR screens has to face each other to make this work. and if you've tried to program the new one before, you will have to clear the new ones memory first. Good luck.

I HAVE AN USED REMOTE CONTROL BECAUSE I LOST DE ORIGINAL REMOTE CONTROL, MY CAR HAVE THE FACTORY ALRAM PLEASE I NEED YOU HELP , TO ACTIVE THE USED REMOTE CONTROL , MY CAR IS A DOGED GRAND CARAVAN...

You will need to go to a dealership and have them program the remote that you've purchased into your car's computer. This service could cost upwards of $100 and has to be done by a dealership as the tools to perform that particular service aren't generally released to third party mechanics.

Hello there, i have purchased an iTgate TGC 200 broken remote

If you cannot find the original remote, I suggest you buy a universal remote like the Logitech Harmony. Even the cheaper Harmony models will be able to control your receiver. Programming the remote is easy and done on your computer.

Can't use tv without remote

There are many TV's that require a remote to operate them.

Are you saying your remote is lost or broken?

If that's the case, and you don't wan't to purchase an original replacement, you could try a universal remote.

Many 'universal' remotes come pre-programmed or can be programmed by entering codes for the make of TV.

Hope this helps.
