Check that the fan is running at the back of the freezer section. If it isn't, the freezer will continue to get colder but as the air is not moving around the cabinet, you get areas of ice buildup. The fan is usually at the top of the back panel, With the fridge unplugged, remove the panel in front of the fan motor. You can otherwise check if the fan is running by pressing the door switch whilst the freezer door is open. If the fridge is running, when you press the switch, the light should go out and the fan should start.

Hi, Are you getting ice build up in the freezer side as well? There is a air shuttle between the fresh food side and the freezer side. thwater might be getting in the freshfood side from there. Look at the bottom rear panel in the freezer for ice build up. Ig=f there is ice, you will need to get to the drain from inside the freezer and check for blockage.
Please let me know if I can help you further.
on the back wall inside the freezer unscrew the white panel and then remove the panel behind this . you should now see a tray that runs the width of the freezer with a driphole on the left-hand side which will probably be frozen with ice , chip away whatever is possible and then put boiling water on the driphole and once this is clear you should find the problem sorted , 1 other option is to turn the fridge/freezer off for several days and this will allow the ice build-up to thaw thus resolving the problem
defrost the freezer,a hairblower helps, the drain tube is blocked in the freezer, you have to let it fully defrost then restart, this is a common problem for all fridges, turn back on after done make sure you feel the air blowing into the fridge,if it does it again its more than likely the defrost timer
never buy a fridge with an ice box! the freezer compartment is not cold enough for long term storage and all of them build up ice.
however, check door seals carefully as you may have an air leak past them. "4" is a reasonable setting and the stat controls both sections.
also check that the compressor stops and starts regularly. if it is constantly running, you could have a compressor fault
