Hi there. I assume the indoor fan runs continuously until the house has cooled down. Clean the condenser. (outside unit)
Another possibility is that the system is getting low on freon. Check for leaks with soapy water at all joints and fix them.
Thanks
Paul

Hi again. Hmm. It must be a thermostat problem.

Why hasn't the oven reached the set temp when the buzzer sounds indicating desired temp has been reached?

What are you using to measure the temperature of the oven? If you using a typical round oven thermometer, the reason is that your thermometer response is slow. It takes about 20 minutes for those thermometers to reach and display the actual temperature, and your oven is probably reaching it's set temperature in about 10 minutes. You really need an electronic thermometer or at least one of those liquid thermometers which you can sometimes find at Ace Hardware or True Value Hardware stores.

"I have a White Rodgers 1F78-151 thermostat and for some reason the system keeps shutting off every few minutes and never reaches my desired temperature i constantly have to set it to off than back to

Is this a gas fired furnace? If so it may be going off because one of the safeties is tripped. There is a high temp safety that will shut the unit down when this temp is reached. The usual cause is low airflow. Check your filters, if these are OK you may have a blocked coil which should be professionally cleaned.

Intermittent colling in Samsung Window AC

so your reported figures show that the unit is operating as planned
the closer to ambient temp the shorter it runs for
the further away from ambient temp the longer it runs for
when the desired temp is reached , the compressor will stop but the fan will continue to run to circulate air past the thermostat so that it will switch back on when the room temp reaches too high temp
and that is why it is recommended to set the temp at 25 C as that is the most economical temp to run it at

Air conditioner shuts off early.

Hi, thermostats is not problem , it's asking for cooling when it should, it's your condensing unit outside, if mechanics said, system is o/k. then it's location of condensing unit, check location of your condensing unit, in relation to direct sunlight, condensing unit best location is always a cool place, preferable away from direct sunlight, check to see, when unit is doing that, if it's expose to direct sunlight, that could be your problem, direct sunlight for long periods could cause the high pressure & temp. controls malfunction. or maybe system is not fully charge with freon, double check freon charge. if direct sunlight is your problem, build a shade or change location of condensing unit, good luck.
