Ok either the 2 screws that hold the blade to the clipper are loose or the adjusting lever on the side could be loose please check both.

P.S you must align blade before you tighten the screws.

I have a staples SPL826X shredder and it won`t shredd, but it will go in reverse. can someone help me?

If you can disconnect the power to unit and check shredding blade alignments to see if there is a clog or if the blades are out of alignment and stuck. If there doesn't seem to be a problem with the blades make a visual inspection of the off/on/reverse switch.

DEWALT DW100 THE BLADE JUMPS OFF THE DRIVING WHEEL ANY ADVICE

Check your blade specifications. Put on a new blade and it will stay on the drive wheel. I've got Haltbar blades from sawblade.com . Such a quality. Check the tension and you wheel alignment too.

The blade on my delta 28-276 keeps riding off the bottom tire

The blade on a band saw stays on the wheels because they are aligned in a way to keep it there. Several things can be wrong to make the alignment off enough that the blade won't stay on. Check the condition of the tire and that the wheel isn't bent. Then check that the bearings and lower drive shaft are not damaged. Another remote possibility is a bent frame that throws the alignment out of wack.

My serger won't cut

Sounds like your blades are either dull, misaligned, disengaged or broken. Examine your serger book for how to re-engage the blades. If they are engaged, make sure they are aligned correctly. If that still doesn't help check for damage.

Bandsaw blades keep popping off, could it be heat related?

Blades slip off the wheels on these saws is because one or both wheels are not turning true to the blade. This can be caused by:
- Missing or worn tires on the wheels. The rubber tires have to be on the wheels and they have to be in good condition.
- Occasionally the screws holding the sprocket on the driven wheel come loose and the wheel will wobble causing the blade to come off.
- Both wheels ride on bearings and shafts that, if seized, worn or broken, will let the wheel wobble enough that the blade won't stay on.
- If the blade is stretched or twisted from use it won't stay on very well.

Use a block of wood to hold blade stationary while tightening bolt. Ensure threads are cleaned with a wire brush before tightening. Is there a spacer or washer missing?

Why won't the blade stay on the wheels of my

You need to adjust the tracking, at the very least. Get a user's manual and it will describe the procedure to adjust the wheels to keep the blade tracking properly. If it's a used saw, it's possible the previous owner didn't maintain it properly and you'll have to replace the rubber, or even a wheel (possible but very unlikely).

sometimes the blades don't align properly when we put them back together. try to re adjust the blades, they should be 1/16th of inch apart and be level, also makes sure you are oiling the blades before every use, friction causes wear and they won't last as long.

I just purchased the FATMAX Utility Knife -- Looks nice, but how do I load the blades? Better yet, when I load the cartridge (finally figured that one out on my own) I can't get the blade to...

the blade section pivots to swivel when doing that it allows you access to the blade storage area that holds up to 7 blades, if the extra blades arent in place perfectly the handle won't close properly, if your problem is with the blades themselves, make sure that the slot in the blade is aligned with the holder perfectly
