E3 is a generic 'Off Balance' code

If you receive an E3 Error code, your washer may be unbalanced. This could be caused by the washer being too tightly packed, or clothing not distributed evenly. This will usually occur during the spin cycle. Stop the spin cycle.

F8 is taking too long to fill. Check the filter screens on the rear hoses.

The F8 E1 or Lo FL error code means your washer is not detecting the correct amount of incoming water. If the washer has an F8 E1 error or LO FL error, the door may be locked, and the control may be unresponsive.

Hi Betty, f8 e3 error code means the machine is reading a water level that is too high. This can be caused by over sudsing or a bad drain pump not pushing enough water out. First thing to try is cleaning the machine. They are available at most grocery stores. That should get rid of any excess detergent in the machine. Then run a load of laundry and see if the error code clears. If that doesn't clear up the problem,I would call your local repair company and have them check the drain pump. Hope that helps.

I had same problem. Just stopped worked and blinked E3. I used the troubleshooting wizard on ClassicFlame's website. Shut power off (it's hardwired to 220v) for a couple minutes and it started back up. Never did find out what caused the error.
