SOURCE: pb-413 blower. starts w choke,

Most likely there's a problem with fuel supply - choking cuts air supply optimizing the air/fuel mix. Most common solution is to check and clean the carburetor.

If there's a tiny fuel filter in the fuel line between tank and carburetor check it on excessive pollution. Replace it when necessary.

When opening the blower for carburetor cleaning - also check the airfilter and replace when dirty.

If never opened the blower - take pictures with a digital camera at each step. The pictures can help with assembly after cleaning.

Green machine 4600 lp wont shut off

It should be part of the throttle. Otherwise, just full choke it till it stops.

I recently tuned up my blower. It starts great but if I turn it off Nd try to restart it it floods and will not start until I let it sit for awhile.

If the engine is warm and you shut it down, leave the choke off, lower the revs and start it. (when the choke is wide open you are using the fresh air coming in to dry the spark plugs and prevent flooding). If the motor is already flooded use that procedure to dry the plugs, then go back to full choke until it tries to start and quits again, then use half choke and pull one more time... works all the time.

I have an Echo PB-500T blower that won't throttle up. I bought this blower new about 3 months ago. Before this blower I had an exact same blower that gave me the same problem. I returned that blower...

Remove the in tank fuel filter and take it apart, the felt Echo uses on the filter clogs quickly. There is still a mesh screen filter in the assembly so make sure you put it all back together and reinstall the fuel filter into the tank.

Runs Fine But won't Shut Off

One of two things will keep the engine from turning off. The most likely cause is a dirty kill switch. Pop the switch out with a small knife or screwdriver, disconnect the wire leads. Clean the switch by spraying WD40 or contact cleaner into the switch and blow it out with compressed air. Check your local repair shop to see if a new switch is available. They are usually about $5.
The other possibility is an open circuit in the ignition module. If repairing the switch doesn't solve your issue, replacing the ignition module is usually too expensive to mess with. Just use the choke to kill the engine.
Good luck!

Echo pb 200 leaf blower want start

Turn on ignition switch, Choke, prime bulb 5 times (or until fuel flows), hold throttle down and pull starter cord sharply until it tries to start, then place choke in mid position pull cord sharply again until it runs then move choke to off when it will allow it.
Also you can go to toro.com then customer care, then manuals and parts then type in model no. and download an owners manual.
