My fan will not turn on. What part do I need to order

Check the lamp status. If your projection lamp is old it may draw too much current or the output may be too low. Either way the projector's controller orders it to shut down as a safety precaution to prevent damage. It is easy to replace the lamp. I bought one for about $90 on Amazon. When you replace the lamp, be sure to vacuum the two fans that supply cooling air. One is a squirrel cage, and the back-up is a pancake fan. If either of these fans doesn't turn easily, they need lubricated. This will also cause an immediate shut-down, since over-heating is a major safety concern. If the fans and lamp are in good working order, it should run fine. Hope this helps.

The remotes eventually go out and need to be replaced.I had to get model # on remote and order another for my fan

the blinking lamp is a code for the tech so they can fix it

Unplug the fan and hot wire it to the battery if it dosen't come on, replace it. it does not need to be frozen in order not to work.

The fan next to the bulb would be my guess as the only problem. No sense digging unless needed. Replace the fan first, turn it on and see. There should not be any reset needed.
