I have lost the manual and it is not by Hasbro but by Trends international

Hasbro makes the Battleship games. Many Hasbro toy manuals are available here: http://corporate.hasbro.com/en-us/consumer-care/toy-game-instructions . I found four different electronic Battleship manuals. The 2006 Advanced Mission game manual link is http://www.hasbro.com/common/instruct/Battleship_Advanced_Mission_Electronic_2006.pdf . The 2003 version manual is here: http://www.hasbro.com/common/instruct/Battleship_Advanced_Mission_Electronic_2003.pdf . There is also the Talking Battleship version; the link to this manual is: http://www.hasbro.com/common/instruct/Battleship(electronic)talking.PDF . Finally the manual for the non-talking Electronic Battleship is here: http://www.hasbro.com/common/instruct/Battleship(electronic)nontalking.PDF .

All of the manuals have the deployment formations. The first two games are very similar in the game setup and play. The two older (Talking and Non-talking) versions also share most of their game play.

Hasbro has the instructions and replacement parts for many of the Playskool toys on their support site, http://www.hasbro.com/site-map.cfm . The instructions for the Kota the Triceratops are available here: http://www.hasbro.com/common/documents/dad2af771c4311ddbd0b0800200c9a66/61EED7975056900B10DED12F214D6B3E.pdf . The instructions for the Kota and Pals Ankylosaurus are here: http://www.hasbro.com/common/documents/dad2af771c4311ddbd0b0800200c9a66/F235292B5056900B10B29E652C4640C1.pdf . However, they do not have any parts for the Kota and Pals set. You may find the leaf available in an internet auction.
