Similar to another posted wireless issue found in a Gateway NE71B, I offer the same solution.
Check your BIOS version by entering the BIOS. As the Gateway logo appears after turning on the power, press either F1 or F2. You should get into the BIOS. Look for the current version. If the version is earlier than version 2.13, you will want to update the BIOS.
It seem your current version "LF94510J.64T.0000.2009.0123.1105" doesnt have any BIOS ID's which is required to upgrading. Where '0000' should have any version number. I recommend using DOS environment when upgrading BIOS, this is the safe way flashing BIOS..so download file LF94510J.86A.0278.BI.ZIPhere. Extract all files on USB flash disk which is bootable flash disk. Run files executable on the command prompt and follow the instructions..
your current bios is corrupted since the check-sum that was generated when your bios eprom was flashed with your current bios version doesn't match the check-sum that is generated as now, meaning that your bios changed for a few bits. you can fix this problem by re-flashing your bios with a good ROM file that you can download from your computer maker site or your motherboard bios maker site, also upgrading your bios with a newer version will take care of the issue as well.
o check the current BIOS version on the computer, follow the steps below:
Click Start

Select Restart

When the first screen appears, press F10
to enter the BIOS Setup.
The BIOS revision is listed on the Main
menu.From there look for administrartor password and disable it. Make note of the current BIOS version; you will need this information to determine if a newer revision is available.

actually u know what beta means? its acutally in testing mode they r still testing n finding the errors they made so when they find all erors n fix then they launch a full version of it so never download a softwares update of such sensitive stuff which r beta version always wait for the full version to arive
