Bosch AQUATAK GO Pressure Washer Logo

My pressure washer appears to have died.

A number of years ago I bought an Aquatak Go pressure washer. After a few uses my son managed to damage the lance so the unit was stored in a garage cupboard for a good 3/4 years. Just recently I bought a new lance and used the unit for a good 2-3 hours. I made sure it was drained before storing it away again. I got the unit out to finish the job, connected the water supply, plugged in and turned it on. The motor came on for a couple of seconds and then stopped. I was using an extension lead so I plugged directly into the power source but still nothing. I replaced the fuse in the plug but still nothing? Anybody got any clues?

At a rough guess I would think that there is a blockage in the wand jet at the end or the hose has a blockage inside it.

Testimonial: "Thanks for your response Bill. I checked the hose and actually had the hose connected and the lance still sprays even without the power on so I don't think there can be a blockage in there."

I can't see any rust in there johnny. It seems that odd that it worked fine for a few hours one day and then a couple of days later there is nothing but I can only think it must be the motor, now to decide whether to get it fixed or just buy a new one!

if you have all the parts, hose wand fittings etc,the just buy a motor,or used washer with a blown pump etc.check ebay

it could also be the pressure switch,i myself would check voltage to the motor and from the main switch etc, there are alot of pressure switches on ebay so that makes me think that this switch is a problem on those bosch washershttp://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40...

Bosch aquatak power washer will not start

Check to make sure the outlet (power supply) is energized. This piece of equipment is supposed to be used on a ground-fault protected circuit, so make sure the ground-fault on the outlet didn't trip or the circuit breaker (fuse) at the electric panel did not trip (or blow)
Check to make sure you are going through the proper starting procedures as outlined in your user's manual on page 8.
Follow the troubleshooting tips on page 10 of the user's manual.
Beyond that, Bosch requires that you have your power washer repaired at an authorized / qualified repair center.
I did locate a web site that shows an exploded parts view of the pressure washer, if that helps. http://www.magic-parts.co.uk/acatalog/BOSCH-Aquatak-1200-Plus.php
In case you don't have a user's manual, you can view it at: http://www.manualslib.com/manual/537062/Bosch-Aquatak-110.html#manual
Best wishes on your project.

Bosch aquatak 120i pressure washer/tetergent

Hi hope i can help!!
Try this empty the detergent tank then have your machine ready to work then half fill the tank with warm water and use the machine, this may take a few attempts so dont think its a 5 min fix! What happends is the detergent when left in the machine goes thick and gooy the warm water thins this and eventualy cleans it out but dont use boiling hot water this may damage the seals.before storing machine away do this method.
Hope this helps .Sean
