SOURCE: My sony ericsson phone wont come on
when not used for some time battery takes about 30 min to start charging. if used and suddenly stopped then is time to replace battery.
SOURCE: black screen on inside and outside has not been dropped may have water damage from water on my hands
what you may need to do is replaced the flexcable on the phone not the lcd.
(This sounds crazy but I've seen it work a couple of times)Put the phone In a baggie with dry uncooked white rice over night "with battery out" Then see if it works.

You can first attempt to do a "soft reboot" by pulling the battery at the same time as the screen is flashing the logo as you stated. (Pulling the battery IE:remove battery with phone in 'ON' state) If this does not solve your problem, a "hard reboot" might be your only other option, (short of bringing it into to a service center location for your cellular provider or sending it into to a service center via postal delivery). To perform a hard reboot on the Samsung Galaxy Pro please follow the proceeding steps as they are listed: Press & Hold The "Power/Lock Key" & "T/3" Key Of The Qwerty Keyboard At The Same Time Until The "Android system recovery " Menu Shows Up. Use The "Volume Key" To Scroll Down & Select "wipe data/factory reset". Press The "Home Key" To Proceed To The Next Confirmation Step. Use The "Volume Key" Again To Scroll Down 7 Times & Select "Yes - delete all user data". Press The "Home Key" To Perform Hard Reset. After 2 Or 3 Seconds It Will Show Data wipe Complete. All User Data Will Be Removed And The Device Will Be Restored To Manufacture Default. Press The "Home Key" To Reboot System Now.
