My washer is not spinning clothes dry and the end of the cycle. Everything is soaking wet, what can I do?

if the clothes are soaking wet, the tub isn't spinning. Have you stood at the machine and listened for the spin? solution may be as simple as a broken interlock switch. Let me know.

the most common problem is a blocked or restricted drain pump.You can use a wet/dry Shop vac and attach it to the end of the drain hose to remove all the water.
Once the water is removed then your door should unlck and you can remove all the clothes.
after that you need to look at your drain pump remove the hoses be sure to check the hose that comes down from the bottom of the tub to the drain pump and look for any obstruction also check your drain pump inside there could be something stuck in it.

Could be a gearcase problem or a motor coupler problem or a clutch problem .Best off to call a reputable service company such as Sears.

The clothes are wet after spinning When the clothes are wet at the end of a cycle, check these: Motor coupler Spin cycle Siphoning Water-inlet valve Motor coupler To test the motor coupler, re-start the washer in its spin cycle. Let the machine run for a minute, and then open the lid and notice whether the tub is spinning: If it's spinning when you lift the lid, the coupler is fine. If it does, cut off the excess. Water-inlet valve Water-inlet valves eventually fail. One problem that may develop with a water-inlet valve is that it can no longer completely shut off when the electricity is turned off to it. Then, the valve may leak and drip water into the clothes tub--you may notice that your washer has water in it when you haven't used it for a few days. To fix this, replace the valve.

I am having the same problem on a WD9900A. The wash cycle works great. Spins fast and clothes are completely rung out. Dryer cycle heats up well. Fluffs and heats cloths. At some point during dry cycle water is injected on clothes and they end up sopping wet; much wetter than after wash. Filter is clear. Outlet pipe clear and functions well. Possible problem with dryer timer? Or washer timing kicking back on?

When the clothes are wet at the end of a cycle, check these:

I had that problem at one time with my old washer and what it ended up being was the Washer Dog Agitators were broken and causing the it to slip and not spin correctly. I would try checking the Dog Agitators.

If the pump is clogged and can't release all the water it won't go into final high spin. Remove lower cover and locate coin catch and unscrew it. Water will come out, so be ready. If it's full of stuff, this is probably the problem.

Clogged water pump. Not draing fast enough. If this is helpful, please post as such.

Is this the same model as listed by the previous poster? If so, does the washer ATTEMPT to go into the spin cycle? That is, does the timer advance to spin cycle properly, and can you hear the transmission or drive motor engage?
