If it is the 3-digit code you forgot then try all numbers 000 to 999. One of them will work.

You can able to open this number lock, but you show more patience,
put the lock number to 000 or 0000, then start with 001,002,,,upto 999 or 9999 if it is fourth digit. Each time you every digit give a slight pressure to the lever,,it will open with the correct number and open with that number you forget.

sumone has typed wrong password more than three times...thts why ur id is locked...Try clicking forgotten password n follow the instructions....it might help to unlock ur account...hope this helps.....

The only way to bypass it is to put it into recovery mode. You can do this by turning it off and then holding the home button down then plugging it into the computer with itunes. The one you sync with. The phone will be in recovery mode, start iTunes and then you will be prompted to restore your phone. If you need further assistance, please ask.

I just opened mine. I also knew the the password and the suitcase wasn't unlocking. If you are all sure that u know the password. Then put some oil in the lock. wait for 1 hour... This will help. If it doesn't work then.. Put the lock code and push the clips manually with a pait or scissors or a small blunt knife.. Don't worry the lock is just stuck. After all it's a vip and not samsonite

if you have the time.... go through each combination
example: 001, 002, 003 ect....010, 011, 012 ect. 099, 100, 101 ect..

Remove the sim-card and switch on the phone .. and press this code *2767*2878# .. the phone will restore the factory settings.

If not, contact Archos Support with your model number and they will fix you up :D

okay what you can do....is eprom it by pressing *2767*2878#.....this will also blank all data you had save on the phone.
