Place the settings.dat file in the same folder on your USB disk as uTorrent. 4. Run uTorrent from your portable drive and configure the options and preferences.
Well, you could always try using Vuze ( formerly Azerus ) as a new bittorrent program, as it work very nicely. Though, you may have the same problem as you're having with uTorrent.
What you have to do is go into your router's settings and open port 25320 so the bittorrent program can get a connection.
You must set static IP on your computer where the utorrent is installed. Make sure no firewalls are enabled on your computer like windows firewall or any other firewall like norton, mcaffe, zone alarm and the likes. You should forward the port on separate protocol. As far as your problem with the mouse that's probably in a different chapter.
Your computer should be on a static IP and dns in order for you to specify to which computer will be the port for the Utorrent will be working, because in order for the port forwarding to work fine you need to set the excat Ip address that the port will be using...
I had the same problem.. the router did forward another port for me (port 12345) so i just set the port for uTorrent to 12344 and it magically worked... i'm not sure why but i would try setting the port to a lower range
