Try to reset the tv throught the menu options, if that fails then the video inputs or video components in the tv needs repaired, if you have a "S Video" input you could use that or have the TV repaired.

This is a receiver, not a TV
Just got off the phone with Sony Support, I found that this receiver does not have an up converter, so any components that use the A/V inputs will not go through the HDMI outputs, you have to use the Monitor out plug to go to your TV, of course this means you will need to select that input when you are watching TV in order to see what is playing. Might have been nice to have written that somewhere in the Sony Manual.
