LG Washing Machine Displaying Fault Code tE
A faulty temperature sensor, needs replacing.
Testimonial: "Thank You! I ordered from the link and it got here early. Replaced the Thermistor with the help of your videos. I've been trying to read a diagram of the washer. Can you please tell me which part plugs into the Thermistor? After taking the washer apart I saw a very lose almost broken wire on the part that plugs into the Thermistor. Thank You so Much"
A tE error code on the display of the washer indicates a heating error, usually caused by a faulty thermistor.
It is a motor sensor error code. (a hall sensor error code is the same thing). inexpensive part, easy to replace. check of appliancepartspros.com for a video showing how.
tE is a thermistor error
If your LG washer is getting the FE error code, there is usually one reason why the FE fault code will display. The FE error code on the LG washer display is indicating a water overflow issue. This means the WATER INLET VALVE may not be shutting off the flow of water and therefore the DRAIN PUMP is running constantly.
An LE error code on the washer's display indicates that the motor is locked, possibly due to a heavy wash load. Large and heavy sized loads will put a strain on the motor, causing the LE code to occur. Performing a reset on the washer will normally resolve this error with a reduced load size
