If you can give us a model number for your unit, we can look it up and find a schematic and be able to tell you better where to find what you are looking for.
Testimonial: "This is the only number I have found anywhere on the stove: 1020193. There is no tag behind the drawer, no proper tag anywhere."

I find the front door isn't shut tight enough and I prop a dowel up against one corner and the other end to the floor and then it works.
SOURCE: Kenmore Elite slide in range F30 error
I had the same F30 error problem but fixed it. On my professional series Frigidaire, there are 2 resettable red button locations. I discovered that only one is in the rear of the oven. After going to the breaker box and shutting off the power, pull out the stove enough to work, unscrew the rear screws (I didn't unscrew all of them, just enough to work back there). The small red button is on a small black round piece with two purple wires feeding to it. That was not my problem. Mine was the other red button behind the control panel. Pull off all 4 knobs, unscrew by hand the large black rings that are underneath the knobs, pull out the whole panel. Look back and right (below where the right knobs were located) to find the 2nd red small button. Push to reset. Check this one first since it is easier to do.
SOURCE: Kenmore gas Range -- Control Panel not working
Hi. your assessment is correct. when you have normal operations with the stove top and the control panel is blank or non operational, this will confirm either a wiring harness issue or a dead control circuit board. The wiring harness can sometimes become lose or the connectors can become corroded but, in this issue, i am sure its the ECB(electroninc control board). In this case, you will have to replace the board it self.
Please rate and god bless:)

I have not found the exact model number anywhere including behind the drawer but this was on the only tag attached: 1020193.
