Front load washers often use a self contained electric drain pump and the motor may be worn or damaged and require the complete pump to be replaced. Remove any foreign objects or replace the worn or damaged pump, thencarefully tighten the hose clamps and check for leaks before installing the cabinet or front panel.

All front-load washing machines have shock absorbers that are used to dampen the tub movement in the spin cycle. The shock absorbers or struts are attached to the base frame and to the outer tub and you will need to remove the front panel or the rear panel to access them. When shock absorbers weaken or become damaged, the machine will often make a loud banging sound during the spin cycle and if the symptom is not corrected, can lead to damage of other components. Inspect the shocks for signs of broken attachments, leaked fluids or a weakened dampening action and replace both shocks if worn. Remove power from the appliance before attempting this repair.

Some models of top-load washers use tub dampening straps to cushion the movement of the tub during the spin cycle. There are four straps attached to the top of the tub and to each corner of the cabinet

Also There are four suspension rods that suspend the tub and allow the tub to free float. If the suspension rods are noisy, there will be a squeaking noise during wash. You can fix this by putting bearing (lithium base) grease in the cup that each rod rests in. If it continues to squeal replace all four rods the cups come with the rods, replace them as well.

If your washer has a loud banging noise during spin the balance weight may be loose. This weight is to counter act the weight of the motor so you will find the weight directly behind the motor. Sometimes simply tightening the bolts will fix your issue but if the bolts are stripped out get some bolts slightly longer than the original bolt to allow you to put a locking nut on the bottom side of the mounting plate. If the weight is broken replace it.

Lastly Washer vibration can be caused by a broken counter balance spring. Ur washer may be equipped with one or more counter balance springs which help to absorb the natural movement of the spinning tub. If a counter balance spring fails the tub might lean in one direction more than another and it will shake and cause vibration.
By the way my advice is free cuz God is good!

Whirlpool duet washer won't spin. I cleaned the clogged pump, but it shows thes two codes

I've had the same issue, and a close friend that had a similar issue. Here are the 2 resolutions:
1) Check the drum in between the body and the actual barrel. Sometimes small articles of clothing get stuck in there and will cause the barrel to not spin (such as a child's sock).

2) Some barrels are only made to spin when the machine is cycling. If for any reason you or someone else spun the barrel with your hand (when pulling laundry out for example), the spinning mechanism can become unattached. In that case, you will probably want to call a repair person rather than taking the washer apart yourself. This is a relatively easy fix for a good repair person so it shouldn't be very costly.

Hope this helps.

What's the difference between each barrel shape?

Cylindrical barrels arethe same diameter along their entire length and tend to be long and thin. Theirslenderness makes them better for grouping but because they are long, the centerof gravity is further back.Ton shaped barrels arethin at either end but bulge in the middle an thing that makes them fatter thana cylindrical barrel of equivalent weight but the center of gravity is furtherforward and much easier to throw.

Drum is loose in machine and swings forward and back. Clothes are still very wet after final spin.

the rear struts have come loose and need re tension this will cause the barrel to come loose due to the barrel not being centered it will not spin at full cycle vortex and leave the cloths some what wet you need to take the top and back covers off and re tension the struts and make sure all 4 springs are well attached..

best of luck

Key in ignition spins then engages

You have either a worn key or a work ignition barrel. You need to try a new key first and if the fault persists, replace the ignition key barrel

Barrell doesnt spin

Check the drain hose if to low to ground if so raise hose up to even with the tub top or two thirds up on machine. Some washers don't spin until water is drain out first then the pressure switch turns the timer to spin. Hope this may help.

Washing Machine trouble

The easiest way to solve this without taking the machine apart is to tilt the machine back and look under it.
Above the transmission and clutch you will see the brake assembly. It is a little aggrevating to get to with the cabinet on, but you can spray it with some silicone lube and it will help this problem. You may have to spray it then put into spin, stop it and spray again. After it spins and stops a few times it will usually smooth out.
