Motorola blue-tooth devices are mostly meant for Motorola phones. This particular device is restricted to be used by Motorola phones. No matter how hard you try the devices will not pair because they are not compatible. There are certain blue-tooth devices which are universally acceptable by all types of mobile phones but the MotoRokr T505 as it is dubbed by Motorola is restricted to Motorola phones. Sorry for any inconveniences. Please do rate the service delivery on this question answered.
Sorry for not having noticed your post before. Anyway, If you happen not to have sorted your problems out by now yet, I hope this user guide might be useful to you.

The T505 User Guide has some instructions on to set it properly. In case you don't have it, download it from this location.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out.
Cheers!
Carlos
Start with the T505 turned off. Make sure the blueooth radio of all devices which were previously paired to the T505 are turned off too. Try to press and hold the power button of the T505 for 3 seconds. It should power up, and start to search for previously paired devices. If it can't find them, it'll enter the pairing mode (its led will be solid lit). Now, make the bluetooth application on your N85 search for new devices. Select the T505 from the list. If a pairing code (or passkey, or PIN) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros).
Hope it works for you.
Cheers!
Carlos
PS: the T505 should also go to pairing mode if your press and hold both volume keys for 5 seconds.
To modify T505 configuration settings, enter setup mode by pressing and holding the Call button while powering up. The main indicator is steadily lit in green to indicate your T505 is in setup mode.
