The E13 error code on an Enigma 8 autoclave typically indicates a problem with the vacuum system. This error code is indicating that the vacuum is not reaching the proper level during the sterilization cycle.
Here are a few things you can check to fix the E13 error code:
Check the vacuum pump: Make sure that the vacuum pump is functioning properly and that it is not blocked or clogged.
Check the air filter: Make sure that the air filter is clean and not clogged. A clogged air filter can prevent the vacuum pump from functioning properly.
Check the vacuum hose: Make sure that the vacuum hose is not damaged or disconnected.
Check the door gasket: Make sure that the door gasket is not damaged or leaking. A damaged or leaking door gasket can prevent the vacuum from reaching the proper level.
Check the control board: Make sure that the control board is not damaged or malfunctioning.
Check the water level: Make sure that the water level is at the correct level in the autoclave chamber.
Timed out on drain cycle, basically you either have an outlet blockage or something is trapped in the pump, you can check the pump by opening the bottom right flap on the front panel, manually emptying the w/m and checking the pump filter for coins etc. Also, check the outlet isn't blocked. E13 means timed out on drain cycle, In other words its trying to drain and cant so it stops with that error code, Hope this helps,
The cause of the error is that no cold water is getting through the cold water valve (inside the machine). The E10 error indicates that one of a group of error codes occurred. The specific code could have been one of the following:
E11 - Fill time too long. (See test 1 below)
E13 - Water leak in the tub or air leak in the air bell. (See test 2 below)
E14 - Dispenser drawer reed switch is open. (See test 3 below)
To recall the specific fault code from this group, follow these steps:
Wake the machine by pressing any button
Wait 5 seconds
Press and hold the Start and Pause/Cancel buttons simultaneously
All LEDs will go blank and after a few seconds the control will signal the stored code
Based on the specific error code, follow the specified test and troubleshooting. The magnet for the dispenser drawer reed switch is shown in the second image below. If this magnet is missing, you will get the E14 code. Some of the troubleshooting provided is intended for service technicians. Do not conduct any test or troubleshooting that you are not completely confident that you can safely complete. Unplug the washer before accessing internal components.
