Bosch avantixx 8 waq error code e44 - Bosch Washing Machines

Original advice in 2014 from Kenjo, on another website:
f21 is worn brushes in the motor replace them and to reset the f21 code.... close the door, turn timer dial to position 8 going clockwise, hold in the spin speed button whilst turning dial to position 9 let go of spin speed button and return dial to off position.

E44 is an error code for the control board.

You can try the following steps:
1. Turn the washer knob to the 'off' or reset position 12 o'clock.
2. Turn the knob to the 6 o'clock position.
3. Press and hold the spin button.
4. While holding it, turn the knob to the 7 o'clock position.
5. Continue holding the spin button for about 5 seconds.
6. Release the button.
7. Turn the knob to off.
When your turn it back on it should have cleared the error code.

usually you find high up codes are something to do with sensors or flow rates on intake etc
sorry cant find the exact error condition you have
a quick phonecall to bosh service department and they can tell you they are very helpfull as a company

Good Morning bennysia28 - Typically, error code E44 indicates that the main control board has gone bad or is not communicating correctly. Before replacing this part, I would first recommend resetting power to the unit for about ten minutes. If the error code still displays, it is advisable to contact an appliance repair tech to accurately diagnose and make the appropriate repairs.

Touch the childlock key for about 5-8 seconds and its unlock!

You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make model number) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount.
You could also try the manufacturer's web site direct ;-0)
