In order to perform a hard reset you are going to need to use the steps that I am going to give you below in order to perform a hard reset on your device successfully in order to successfully be able to hard reset your Coby Kyros tablet. 1. Power off your device 2. Hold back + power until Android screen appears 3. Press the back button once more 4. Use your home/menu button in order to be able to scroll up and down the list until you reach the Wipe option 5. Select the factory reset option 6. Reset your device 7. Select the reboot device option This will hard reset and reboot your device for use on your device Video on performing the steps

UNFORTUNATELY I WAS **** ENOUGH TO PURCHASE A COBY KYROS. LESS THAN A YEAR AGO AND NOW ALL THE SUDDEN IT WON'T TURN ON IT WON'T LIGHT UP IT WON'T DO ANYTHING. IS THERE AN EXPLA

I need help i have a pattern password for my coby tablet mid8042 can you please help me reset it so that i cAn get into it and not have the pass word any more

Press and hold the power on off button while holding vol key up for about 10 seconds untill android logo shows up then release buttons that should take u to the recovey menu once ur there scroll down to factory settings or data wipe select it with onboff button once ur done select reboot system now that should fix ur problem
