Where do I find the model and serial numbers on a 60 HP Yamaha 2cyl outboard

There is a model 60452 listed under 60hp, 1964year. Not sure what the S means, but in the 60's they were 2 cycle. I don't think 4 cycle came out until the 80's. Evinrude Outboard Motor Model Numbers

Google marineengine.com. Click on mercury outboard spares. Put in the serial number and it will take you to your model.

Take the cowling off. Also drop the foot. There wil be a stainless linkage rod that runs the length of the motor that you will have undo to drop the foot. The water impeller will be inside a stainless casing that you will have to disassemble.
