First thing to check is if you have the correct setting for your GPRS. If you dont have it, try to contact your operator and ask them for the correct setting and/or your network supports GPRS or just copy the one with your friend. Second, does your Sim have load/credit? If all the above were set, try to restart your cellphone. Then check if it worked.
Delete some configuration on your phone. You can find it in phone setting. Or you can restore the setting to the factory setting. Enter *#7780# from standby screen, the standard phone code for nokia is 12345. And then, request GPRS configuration from your service provider again
Actually you can run internet on your phone in this specific handset but for connecting it to PC you need to download the Pc suite of your mobile. this will be available free on the site of NOKIA.
Buddy! The GPRS settings are specific to the provider which in your case is BSNL. Call the support line of BSNL and they will sms you the required settings.
which operator u use for the mobile connection. contact ur operator and then take the settings manually. then configure according to the said settings and try out whether it works or not. if not then take the phone to the nokia care for the software flashing and certainly u will get the gprs connection enabled in ur handset. i have nokia 3110c phone and i am using gprs connections from airtel and aircel. u will get it certainly just follow what they are saying if that doesn't work then take ur handset to the nearest connector store for the configuration of the gprs and have it done.......
