It is not clear what your question is. If you want to change your password go to Accounts to change it. You must know your old password. If you don't know your old password you can bypass it. How to do that depends on what computer you are using. Give make, model number, op sys. when you asked questions in order to get better answers.

I am not sure, if it is possible to recover password, but at least it is possible to reset password on windows xp or 7 using wonderful tool called Trinity Rescue Kit (TRK) which can be found here:

There are also instructions, but let me make it bit short:

- download TRK and burn it\'s ISO image to CD/DVD using your favourite burning SW

- boot that computer from burned disc

- choose "1 - Edit user data and passwords"

- follow instructions, type account name to reset password for

- choose for example option 1 to clear password, you will set new password under windows later :)

- then restart computer and enjoy!

It is illegal to get access to computer like that unless the computer is your own, or you have permission!

If you are change yahoo password or login success full. But you are say also old password show in yahoo login page. No issue just clear history or cookies in browser.
If you are used Firefox browser then go to Tools-Options-Privacy-clear history and cookies.

If you are used Google Chrome then press Ctrl+H then open history and show clear browsing history press ok all old history remove. Then not show old password.

How do I get into the BIOS

(1) Re-check your mail ID and password.
(2) When you last set your password, perhaps your keyboard was inadvertently in caps-lock mode?
(3) delete any old cookies or super-cookies (LSO's = Local Shared Objects) that may mis-identify your computer to Yahoo.com
clear cookies: Tools >Clear Recent History > Cookies
clear super-cookies: delete *.sol files in
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Macromedia,
where "User" is replaced by your login name.
(4) clear your browser "Form and Search" history, which will store your (incorrect) password, and supply it to Yahoo.com without telling you its doing so - the browser thinks its cleverly "helping" you remember a password.

A computer technician can clear / reset the administrator's password for you if you bring the computer to them, but they will not provide instructions on how to do so yourself for obvious security reasons.
