I have bought a rf angle and a Y splitter and TV link and connected it to my TV in another room, I have connected TV coax wire from my TV in another room to sky box in sitting room and put the rf to out and tried to change channels on sky box and tried to match the channels on my LG 50PH660V 50-inch TV which is in a different room from sky box but am unable to tune in as only have dtv channels and am left confused with what I am doing wrong. on old terrestrial TV i had it on channel 68 and it worked perfectly but now I can not get it to work even when I have the TV link connected straight to the LG 50PH660V 50-inch TV the link lights up and shows red light but no picture on TV. i am left confused with what I am doing wrong. I am unable to tune in LG 50PH660V 50-inch TV to sky box in a different room using rf out please advise what I am doing wrong
Hi Jim,
Here In my place in India, you can attach only one tv to the sky set top box. That too with AV cables. The program or channel changing is done by box only. The tv works as a monitor and has no role in program selection. You can attach a second tv to the box not through antenna cable but through AV cables only. That too if the box is having second set of output sockets. In that case both the TVs will receive the same programmes. To watch different programmes on the second tv you will have to go for an additional box.
