I have an LG refrig french door model LFX 31925ST/00. Purchased less than 2 months ago. The top plastic freezer door continues to get an ice build up on the front of the drawer only. Is this normal? ...

It sounds like a loose or bad seal on the top area of the freezer door. Use the old dollar bill test to see how good the seal is. Hold a dollar bill up to the seal and close the door. there should be some resistance. compare the resistance between the top and bottom of the door.

Do you have eatc/electronic automatic temp control? The temp blend door, I wouldn't remove that, with no door, it seems to me your getting 50/50 hot and cold. Are there any eatc trouble codes?
Does the engine reach operating temp, hopefully over 200 degrees F. Are the heater hoses hot to the touch?
Do you live in an extremely cold region?

I have a Kenmore 18 refrigerator (freezer on top). When we open the refrigerator door, water drips down from the inside door panel.

Hello
Check you door and door gasket to make sure you have a good seal. What happens is warm air and moisture is getting in and condensing on the panel. I hope this helps. Please leave feedback. Thanks

I have a lot of frost in the freezer and the bottom half is warm the fan is working in the freezer but it not pushing it down

Make sure the door is closing all the way. Also check the door gasket for rips. It sounds like warm air may be getting in.
I hope this helps you. Please leave feedback.
Thank you.

Door alarm on and not cooling

If its the door alarm specifically, and not a temp alarm, assuming the door is closed of course check a couple of things. When you say its not cooling, is it not cooling in both sides, one side, part of either or both sides - i.e. top is warm and bottom is cold? My first door alarm thought was its possible door switch is bad, causing both light to stay on and alarm to think door is open. Is it especially warm or hot near a bulb in either side? If its warm at top, I would look into your evaporator fan motor operation, If its not cold on one side and cold on other, that could be several things, too many to list without specific temps.

try unplugging the unit and use a blowdryer to defrost the return air ducts, they tend to freeze up, they are located on the rear wall of the freezer behind the panel. with doors open and unit unplugged, introduce warm air for a couple of hours

Kitchen aid top shelf warm

  1. check gasket
  2. check the light switch on top of the refrig. section. If then pushed the switch turns the light off, but the light is still on with the fridge door closed - door needs adjustment.

Frigidaire frostlfree upright freezer ice forming top interior door

Not sealing. warm air hitting cold air causing frost. also, door frame heater may not be working. most frames are "warm" to the touch. normally called an "anti sweat" heater.
