My ATF6000ES Front Loading washer runs on any cycle for about 5 minutes then stops, and the display resets to the start and nothing more happens. Got an E48 code and ran "test 7" and the tub did not

Changed control board. If I set it to "spin only" it will drain the water, agitate for a bit and stop. Tried running a cycle with no spin selected, and still the same thing. seems to be more about the time than any specific cycle not working, although it will never do a high speed spin.

tesy 7 in the tech guide said that if the drum spins, it's the door latch, if it desn't spin it's a faulty control board. Tub didn't spin so I trusted the diagnostics and wasted $150 on a new control board, pnly to have the same problem. should Ic hance changing the door latch for another 450-$70 and hope that does it?o

Changed the Door latch, and that took care f the problem. Next time I'll be sure to listen to the man y people on this forum with similar issues instead of trusting Frigidaire's diagnostic test. $150 lesson learned.

Hello Nick Jensen, thanks for your post!
From what you have described your Frigidaire washer is displaying an error code of "E48" and you have changed the control board with the problem continuing to be present. An "E48" error code could be a possible problem with your door lock assembly, motor control board, or control panel. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose your washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

SOURCE: front load washer wont spin

I have a Frigidaire Affinity and the same thing happened to me. After looking on this website I found someone who told me to change the door latch assembly. I went to my local parts supplier and bought a new door latch assembly for $53. My husband replaced the door latch, and it works like new! The good news is the replacement part is better made than the original. The parts guy said he's never seen one fail a 2nd time. This is a cheap fix to a serious problem.

IF there is an E attached to the 45, it is your control board and the control board would need to be replaced. This is per the "Washer Tech Data Sheet"Hope that helps...

SOURCE: No spin cycle, stopped running

Hello, sounds like this is going to be a pump issue, take the lower panel on the front off the machine, there you should see something that resembles a gas cap like on your car. It will be located some where near your pump...Unscrew this cap making sure you have some towels handy to mop up the water that runs out. Once you have pulled out the cap attached you should find a filter cage. You will likely find a bunch of debris, coins, lint and other stuff blocking the pump. Replace this cap or filter and plug machine in and try again, You should be good to go. If this does not fix the problem you are going to need to replace the pump. p.s not sure why you are looking to replace the door latch since you mention the machine is not spinning. The door latch has nothing to do with the spin other then locking. Good Luck!! if you have any toher questions or concerns please feel free to comment again. Mike

SOURCE: ATF6000ES front load washer won't spin during regular cycle.

clogged filter will cause this error code. I have the same washer and the filter located inside the rubber boot attached to the pump was full of junk. there was enough room for water to get thru but not enough for full volume. clean it out and it should work. note : its a pain to get the boot back on so be ready and take it slow. this worked for me.

Pause comes on after it starts secing

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that the pause comes on, after starting your Frigidaire washer, model# ATF6000ES. I please ask that you try resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting it off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Once power is restored, try running any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your refrigerator status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

My Frigidaire Affinity Model atf6000fs0 Washer presents two error codes at beginning of each cycle - EF0 after about one minute and the E10 after a few minutes - cycle stops there. Nothing else happens....

My Affinity (M - ATF6000FS0) fails to an E-20 code. The troubleshooting guide helped; however, the code continues to come in. The drain line is clear to the pump, but the pump sounds like it is failing. Guidance, insight, feedback....please!

My Frigidaire washer was running a cycle and then stopped before draining all the water out. I've cancelled it, then try running a new cycle but it just makes a somewhat loud engine noise, and nothing...

I had this exact problem. The drain filter on the bottom of the machine was stopped up. There are directions on how to remove it and clean it on the internet.

Washer not working

Okay...try unplugging the washer for AT LEAST 30 minutes. This will often cure momentary glitches with the washer computer. After the washer has been reset, attempt the start a load and let me know if it functions normally. If it doesn't, let me know what the front panel display reads.
