Samsung Refrigerator side by side water is dispensed really slow. It will take 3 minutes to fill a glass.

    Samsung RF261BEAEBC refrigerator with internal water dispenser... the water dispenser button started sticking (water would keep flowing once we removed the glass from the button) and sometimes not working. We took the little rubber thing off the front of the dispenser and the button fell out. It was not attached anymore. How do I put it back on so we can dispense water once again? The water works if we hold the little switch in the wall with our finger, but it is very awkward.

    Every Samsung fridge I've come across has had this slow water issue. Samsung knows it's not about the water filter. Will NEVER buy anything made by Samsung ever again. Really c r a p p y refrigerators

Change your water filter, you should change your filter at least every year or it will start to grow bactria. If you still have the bypass (little plastic cap) you can us that in the mean time to get better water flow, it goes where the filter goes

No water from the water dispenser.
a new refrigerator has a water resevoir that has to fill up. you have to hold the water dispenser down for a minute or so to allow this resevoir to fill.

if you have done this already, then you probably have a bad water valve.

Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.

Water from dispenser very slow
You could have a piched H2O line somewhere near where the door connects at the bottom front corner or a bad water valve could be the issue. There should be a water container in the rear of the inside of the fresh food side that stores water. Make sure its not leaking or has any obstructions to it or the lines to and from it.

No ice or water from in-door dispenser
When you first hook water up to the refrigerator you have to fill a tank in the fridge. Open the water supply behind the ref. turn the control on the front of the ref to water and hold a glass under the spout as if you are filling a glass . You may have to wait 3-4 minutes forthe tank and lines to fill with water before you get any to come out into the glass. The water my be discolored at first so run a few glass full through before drinking . hope this helps

Water is really slow
it was good before you changed that first filter? if so you probably got something in the line. from removing filter like part of oring or something and its now in your line from filter. try turning water off and break open water line before filter and see how well it poors there into a bucket or something and work your way down to the dispenser.

Water dispenser does not work well
Hello...have you checked the water pressure on your fridge line, and have you checked for any kinks in the line itself? If the water pressure is OK and there are no kinks in the line, then the water valve might need to be replaced. Any idea how old the valve is? It's a simple repair if you have to do it yourself. Hope this info helps! :)
