First you need to get the button out. But if it is defect (I think it is) that won't help. Did you try to find out what is keeping the button in the depressed position? is it possible there is some dirt around the knob? Something you can remove?
I don't think it is worth bringing it to a service center.If they need one hour to repair it will cost twice a new camera of that class.
So when you can't get the know out, I think you should start saving up for a new camera.
