Try changing the input on the television with the remote or on the television control panel. Apparently you don't have anything plugged into the RGB connections.

SOURCE: "No signal" on our new Vizio screen

Try manually using the source button on the TV.  Touch the button once and a screen will com up on the TV.  Touch the source button again it will scroll down the pop-up on the screen.  Wait a few seconds each time you scroll down the pop-up.  You should get a signal when it gets to the right setting.

SOURCE: No signal when connecting PC to TV

This happens to almost every laptop I know. Here are several solutions:
1. You need to manually enable video on tv by pressing two buttons on your laptop keyboard. The first is "Fn" (at the left bottom). The second depends on your laptop manufacturer. Look at the function keys. F1....F12 for the LCD/CRT or the corresponding sign. Press and hold Fn and press second button. Sometimes you need to press second button several times. This means you need to cycle through all available options to enable Laptop's screen and TV screen at the same time (clone).
2. Intel Extreme Graphics video cards sometimes doesn't support a procedure described above. You need to find intel video card options manager running at the sys-tray (right bottom of your screen near the clock). Right click on it. Select Graphic Options -> Output to -> Laptop + ... clone (or something similar)
Note that not all video cards are capable of showing the movie on media player at the same time. You need to choose Laptop or TV

SOURCE: no signal sony bravia to dell laptop

Most laptops have a combination of buttons you have to press on the keyboard to get it to output on the monitor output. Try pressing the FUNCTION KEY or FUNC/FN key usually found in the bottom left hand side of the keyboard. Keep that button held down while press one of the number keys. Usually the number key will have a picture of a TV screen on it. Might be number 8 or 9. Press both keys at the same time a you can switch between laptop screen, Sony LCD or you can have both..

I have a Vizio TV and would like to add a Chromecast streaming media player, the information I have shows the player powered via the USB IN 1 port, would the RGB PC port work? I have model #GV47L FHDTV

Chromecase is a USB 'stick' type device with a USB interface. The RGB port is a video only port on the TV and not compatible with USB signal levels or the physical plug type.

No power on vizio E371VL

Vizio TV model E371VL turned on ok and had tv show on ch.4.
Turned on the DVD player and put movie dvd in and closed tray.
We have done thhis numerous of times and never had a problem.
This time " HDMI " was showing on top right of black screen,
then " No Signal " came up on screen, then went completely black screen. Called Vizio, they had me power off and unplug set.
Push and Hold power button on TV for 30 sec. to reset.
Replug set and Vizio (lighted) on lower front of set lighted normally dull orange. Pushed power button on remote and when set did not come on, then push main power button on side of TV. Nothing, no White " Vizio " from orange light. Is this a power supply (0500-0412-1020) problem ? Thanks, Sidney ([email protected])

TV displays RGB code and then displays, no signal and then shuts off. What does the RGB code mean?

It means the source is not set correctly. Switch the source to input 0 (cable or antenna depending on your particular set up).

NO RGB SIGNAL - VIZIO HDTV TO LAPTOP

I've been online looking for a solution to this problem and couldn't find a fix until today. I just got off of the phone with a Vizio Tech. He told me that some pc's have a way for the monitor to show the screen externally, and that there's usually a button, sort of like the input option on your TV but its an output button for a laptop in my case. It should look like a picture of a TV in and out of each other. Mine was located on the number four key. I had plugged in my wires and put the TV input on RGB. then on my laptop pressed the function key and number 4 key at the same time and what do you know, I had a picture on my screen. I almost gave up on my vizio but love it even more now. I hope this helps.

Vizio 37L suddenly stopped getting all digital channels

I had the same problem with my 42" vizio. Was working fine for about a year and a half, then a month after all stations went digital, I couldn't see any digital channels and it wouldn't scan for digital signals
This is a strange go around, but it worked for me. . Tried unplugging, pushing power button for two minutes... did everything the forums suggest, with no resolve. But, here's what DID work for me. Trust me, it sounds strange, but it continues to work (and, yes... it's not a permanent fix... the channels still go out once in a while, but I can always get them back now)
Use your Vizio remote control. Turn your TV on. Press the "input" button until you get to "RGB", which is what you would connect a computer to. Make sure no computer is connected, or it's at least off if it is connected. When you get to RGB, you'll see a message that says "No Signal". After about 5 seconds, the TV will enter a sleep mode and seem as if it has turned off (orange Vizio logo). Once it completes it's little sleep cycle and "clicks" off, wait a few seconds and hit the input button again. It'll go to the next menu item. Keep clicking input until you're back on "TV", and VUALA! The channels are back!
I accidentally figured this out when trying to troubleshoot, but I'm glad I did. Didn't want to dishout $250 to get it fixed. Let us know if it works for you too!
