Recently received a 20-6030 thermostatic controlled blower for my GSD 3033. I installed but does not turn on.

Installed as per instructions and plugged in cord to 110v-115v receptacle. No power to blower, unable to turn on with switch supplied-manual-off-auto. any ideas and if not who to contact at Amazon/World Marketing/DrillSpot(shipper) for replacement? Box not opened or damaged before receipt.

SOURCE: Accidentally plugged the 110V to a 220V

Hi,
you,ll have blown the PSU.
there maybe an internal fuse, located in the PSU. but if smoke was bellowing out, i,d say it went straight past the fuse.
New PSUs the best bet.

SOURCE: compaq presario sr1115cl wont power up

Remove the power supply after everything is unplugged and take it to your nearest electronics store. They should have a tester there. This is probably the problem.

SOURCE: HP Desktop power up problem

Bad ram probably, units do that all the time at my job. Most of the time, it is the power supply that does not have enough power to invest into all hardware that makes your pc. even if you had a 400watts power supply, the next time you are buying a power supply you should do some kind of upgrade. 600 watts or more. If you have a high end graphics card then you are indeed in need of a new power supply. also check your cpu, its fan, check if it still seated properly, if there still paste on top of it to hel cooling it down, and protect it from statics. if you added new hardware, remove them and keep checking if it is working. To do manual diags, you need to take the unit apart. I would start by removing rams first, and check ram one by one, then hdd, then disconnect other components until i find the actual part. I am sure it is your powersupply, worst case scenario is you mobo is gone.(but it powers up and shutdown after all so let us hope you don't have a dead motherboard." and remove the dust please, dusty units do not run properly. SOURCE: Will not power up

try re-setting the BIOS by using the clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard. If that does not work then remove the memory dimms, cd-rom drive, hard drive, floppy drive and any PCI components. After that try the computer and see if you at least get a post-up screen. If you do then re-connect each component until the post up screen stops again and that is your problem component. If not then your motherboard is bad.

Installed per instructions but no power to thermostat

You need to go to the source of power for thermostat to troubleshoot. Did you hook it up properly? One of the lines going to unit should show a voltage of about 25.

If this was installed to replace a malfunctioning unit then something has to be messed up with the wiring.

did you receive a heat disk along with the blower?
once the combustion chamber heats up enough, the heat sensor will then close, allowing the fan to come on

How to programme a nova 4 button remote on a gemini gate motor

It's important to know that the Nova remote controls are not compatible with the Gemini gate motor. In order to get these remote controls to work with your Gemini gate motor, you'll need to install a Centurion receiver first (see http://www.centsys.co.za/upload/product_link_files/CS37_Nova_Receiver_Instructions_1031.D.05.0012_4.pdf). Once the Centurion receiver has been installed on your Gemini gate motor, follow the programming instructions as per the leaflet that accompanied your brand new Nova remote control, or download the instructions from http://www.centsys.co.za/upload/product_link_files/English_Transmitter_InsertCS37_1031.D.02.0027_1_Nova.pdf

I changed the thermostat and then the ac stopped working

if this is a split system, go to the furnace or air handler. Shut off the power, remove blower door and find where thermostat wires go to control module.

Remove thermostat wires writing down where each one goes. Make a jumper wire and install it between r and y or r and y1.Put everything back together and turn on power. IF blower motor and ac start, you have
a low voltage wiring or thermostat problem.

If nothing happens then you either have no power to furnace, transformer
could be bad or you have blown a little 3amp automotive fuse that is
installed on the control board.
