Wolfgang puck bistro blender/food processor model BBLFP001 won't turn on, need some trouble shooting advice... except for putting the plug in the wall socket!
I had the same problem. There's a little button on top of the base that is supposed to get pushed in by a male-type piece on the bottom of the pitcher. I broke a match stick and duck taped it so that it pushed in the button on the base - Voila! it works!
Thanks samoa1955, it worked, although I think I'll still have it repaired under warranty. I don't like the idea of a piece of toothpick being the difference for whether or not it works properly.
I have same issue on my WGP blender. Can you provide more details on the match stick fix?
actually if you line up the arrows on the base and the twist the top into the locked position it depresses the button so you don't need to rig it.
