My laptop become very slow ...its 1 gb ram and 160 gb harddisk .... which os i should install please advise

Well there is no problem from upgrading the (OS) to windows 7 ultimate . because your laptop resources are not low.
regrading for the video driver issue .Download the drivers for windows 32 from

there are a lots of reasons why is your toshiba slow.

1) you have a virus
2) you have a 1 GB ram and install ed Windows 7 Ultimate with lots of programs.

then what you mean in "slow", turns on or off slowly, goes internet slowly, opens my computer slowly or what?

if your computer is 5 yrs or older it might not support windows 7 also you will need a minimum of 1 GB of RAM for 32 bit or 2GB of RAM for 64 bit to install windows 7

you are detecting a known problem for 32 bit operating systems.
The problem for those system is that they can manage maximum 3 Gb of RAM.
If you want all of your RAM used you have to install a 64 bit operating system. Windows 7 has also a version for 64 bit as well as windows xp (but is not good supported) and windows vista.

• It was introduced around 2005. It lacks the RAM necessary to run windows 7 (It has 512 MB, when you need 1 GB). So, I'm afraid this computer is not compatible with windows 7 unless you upgrade the RAM

f you want to run Windows 7 on your PC, here's what it takes:

• 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
  

• 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
  

• 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
  

• DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver
  

  So if your Acer TM4150 meets this minimum requirements, then you can install the windows 7 OS
  

If you have just installed the 2gb memory, it may be faulty, it does say that you can use 2gb modules so you may need to swap it

download the latest sound driver from Microsoft.com Compatible with Window 7

Well, you need more RAM. 1 GB is not enough for Vista Ultimate. Contact Dell to upgrade and add a 2 GB memory module for a total of 3 GB. Apparently, you have 30 GB disk full with the Vista OS and software programs. At some point, I'd like to see you extend your partition for your 160 GB drive so that "C" is much larger than 40 GB. You'll need one-one assistance via FixYa.

i dont think so dat window could b installed on usb.
