Could you please explain how to change battery in Bathroom Scale (SilverCrest)?
I have looked into instruction which was provided with the item but it is completely useless. I can open the battery compartment, I can see the battery but I can't remove the battery so I can't change it.

Not all the WeighMax bathroom scales take the same kind of battery. If your scale is one of them listed on the web page cited above, click or tap on the link for the information on the scale and look for the information on Power to find out the kind of batteries needed.
I do not find any instructions for where to find the battery compartment on any WeighMax bathroom scale. Therefore, I suggest you contact WeighMax Technical Support and ask. I had the same problem with my Salter 987 scale. Pull the battery out for about 10 seconds and put it back in. Then push the scale once so it turns on. After the blinking stops, push it once more. The scale will now zero itself. After the scale has zero'd itself it may turn off after a brief moment. It's now ready to use normally.
If you're standing on the scale when it's trying to calibrate to zero, it will assume your weight is zero. Don't stand on the scale after replacing the battery untill you first complete the steps listed above.
Googled around until I found specifications for an unrelated brand of a similar bathroom scale. It mentioned making sure batteries were flat side uppermost in their compartment, which did the trick.
