Lubricate the activators. Sticking seems to be a common problem. I was able to free them using brute force. Now that they are free, I would like to prevent this from happening again.

How do I lubricate the ice shaver rod-it squeaks and with what kind of lubricant?

If you can visually see the rod, use a few drops of cooking oil. If it leaks into any drink, you wont get sick. Don't use mineral oils.

Can I ger instrctions on how to put a blade on my electric clippers?

Most common problem is the mounting tongue snapping shut leaving you nothing to mount the blade on. If the tongue is not sticking out so you can put the blade mounting into it then stick a screwdriver behind it and make it come open. The tongue is a flat piece of metal at the front with 2 lines pressed into it. When it is hanging out pop the blade onto it, turn the motor on and snap the blade shut forcefully.

Kitchenaide blender pitcher blade assembly sticks

You need to lock the blades from turning and undo the bottom clutch drive in such a way as you do not damage it. I use an old motor clutch drive to undo them myself. It has a left hand thread and a block of wood to hold the blade. Then you can remove the blade with shaft from the brass bush to clean and lubricate it. If the brass bush has moved up in the plastic housing you need to press/bang it down again. Then reassemble. If you wreck the clutch drive on the blade you will need to buy a new blade assy if it is separate to the beaker, if not you will need a beaker and blade unit complete.

I have an oster My Blend with the blade stuck in the base. Any ideas on how to get it out? Model BLSTPB-WBL

None of these people understand your question. The blade assembly is stuck in the blender base and will not untwist out of the base. The sport bottle untwists off the blade assembly leaving it in the blender base. I've tried using pliers on mine after taking it apart. Something is binding it from untwisting. What is the trick to untwist the blade assembly off the blender base?

The blade in my Super 5000 wet container turns very stiffly.Should I take it off and lubricate it? There also seems to be water visible under the bottom of the container.

Stiff or stuck blade problems can be fixed by replacing the two bearings and seal inside the blade assembly. Care must be taken in installing the new bearings as not to damage them. Ideally they should be pressed in, on a press, but they can carefully be tapped in using a sockets to match inner and outer races so your not tapping on the balls.

The jar of the ge single serve blender got struck. How to fix it

Most likely the problem is caused because the base is not screwed all the way on to the jar. This could be from just not turning it on all the way or it could loosen while running. Make sure the base is tightly closed before putting is into the power unit. To remove it you can lubricate the tabs with some vegetable oil and then force it. GE service suggested that. I have heard of two people joining forces to get it off without apparently damaging it but no guaranty's. If you have the reciept it should have a two year warranty, at least mine does.
