F2 - Oven Temperature Is Too High - Check for welded contacts on bake and broil relays. If present, replace control board (clock). For SELF CLEAN models, check door lock operation. Check sensor, sensor harness, and the sensor harness connection at sensor and oven control. Also check for any causes of high resistance in the oven temperature sensor circuit. Remember: The oven control board (clock) measures resistance of sensor circuit, not actual oven temperature.
Here is that part. Oven Control Assembly black
I don't believe that it is available any longer.

F2-EO indicatwes a shorted key pad. Electronic parts on ranges sometimes have warranty for five years (may only cover parts) so check your owners manual to see what your warranty is then call for service. It is a good idea to save reciepts of repair for future reference if neccessary.

SOURCE: KitchenAid Gas Range Temperature Probe

We had the same problem, and we tricked it into running it's cycle be doing the following;

1. Wrap a wet paper towel around the probe, plug it in, and close the door. Then follow the temp. probe directions in the manual:
2. Set probe temp. at 130 degrees, then select a bake cycle. We selected convect bake.
3. Set oven temp for 275 degrees, but maybe any temp over the probe temp would work.
4. Then start. The cycle took 12 minutes to complete, and when it was finished, turn the oven off and then open the door and unplug the probe.
5. Now everything works fine.

SOURCE: Problem codes for self-cleaning ranges

My experience (Kenmore Ultra-bake Model 665-72002102) was that E1 F5 meant an error with the oven lock switch. In our case, the latch was partly stuck from food or other debris. Just moving the latch back and forth loosened the scale that was making it stick, and it worked again.

F2 E1 error shows on display. KitchenAid model KESC308LSSO Electric range. Oven stops working after 90 minutes at 350 Def. F. Starts working again after cool down.

On your model the "F2E1" error is for a faulty control board and it will need to be replaced. Here is the part to order.

The part comes with a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy.

Hi, I have Kitchenaid gas stove. the control panel shows the error code F2/E1.. What should I do to fix that?

Most of your F2 errors on stoves has to do with a stuck key. Use a hair dryer or a hot dish towel to warm up the keypad to loosen up that stuck key.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F2-E0 on your kitchen aid means that the keypad is shorted and to resolve this issue you’ll have to replace the electronic range control/clock (ERC). Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
