The flashing red light is designed to notify you in the event that
a problem has been discovered by flashing the light on the base unit.

Before resetting the unit. First, check the blanket/mattress
pad for visual damage.
If no visual damage is found, unplug the system from wall outlet.
Check that the base unit is well connected to the module. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet. Set the base unit to "On." If the system still does not operate after two or three times trying to reset, disconnect the power cord and get it checked out by a specialist!

Washed blanket and then plugged it in power was already on and light on control was blinking on high. Power button made no change. Unplugged unit from power - unplugged blanket then plugged blanket control back in and then plugged to unit to power. Blanket is now working fine

Sunbeam BL0750 electric blanket green light blinking

Sure, here are a few suggestions on where to find a replacement controller for your Sunbeam BL0750 electric blanket:

* **Sunbeam customer service:** You can contact Sunbeam customer service directly and they may be able to help you find a replacement controller. Their contact information is available on their website.
[Image of Sunbeam customer service website]
* **Online retailers:** There are a number of online retailers that sell replacement controllers for Sunbeam electric blankets. A quick search should turn up a few options.
* **Local hardware stores:** Some local hardware stores may also carry replacement controllers for Sunbeam electric blankets. It's worth checking with your local store to see if they have any in stock.

Once you've found a replacement controller, you can either install it yourself or have a professional do it for you. If you're not comfortable installing the controller yourself, you can take your blanket to a qualified electrician or repair shop.

Here are some additional tips for troubleshooting your Sunbeam BL0750 electric blanket:

* Check the power cord to make sure it's plugged in securely.
* Try using a different outlet.
* Check the fuse or circuit breaker to make sure it's not tripped.
* If you've tried all of these things and the blanket still doesn't work, you may need to replace the controller.

I hope this helps!

The 2 controls to our electric blanket are flashing "FF". What does that mean, plus there's no heat at all from it.

With the Sunbeam blankets that I have owned, FF meant that there was a bad connection somewhere. Have you tried the unplugging and replugging the Controller cord back into the blanket? Make sure it is plugged in GOOD AND TIGHT. If that part is connected as tightly as it can go, you may have a defective element.

When I plugged in the cord to the blanket, it displays a continuous blinking of the letter F

Sunbeams - blinking "F" means that the connection to the blanket was loose. Make sure you give it a good push to get the piece fully engaged.

The blanket doesn't heat. It's properly connected. The control box has two LEDs that keep on flashing regardless what I do with the wireless remote. I have two remotes, each one set for single side...

I think the board is burnt out on the unit and is in need of service or replacement through Sunbeam.

One can contact Sunbeam at 800-892-7684 for bedding.

Sunbeam Electric Blanket Model 972 A5 Type 692 (or 592) with temperature control 1 to 9 with 75 mins and 12 hrs and off control positions. The light blinks red and the blanket won't heat up. Please...

Did you get helped last year? If so please ignore. Otherwise....

Hi. You can locate a Sunbeam Service Centre via http://www.sunbeam.com.au/Pages/Support/Repairers.aspx

You're looking at $69,95 recommended retail.

BTW have you checked that it's not the blanket? Swap the controls over, if the problem follows the control it's the control. If the problem stays on the same side of the blanket, it's the blanket.

Also note Sunbeam has a 3 year warranty on electric blankets. If Date Of Purchase is less than 3 years ago call 1800025059 option 1 to speak to their Customer Service,

My Sunbeam electric blanket controls blink when I plug the control cable into the blanket. I cannot turn the controls on or off.

Same problem, but now it is ok.  I emailed Sunbeam and was told that if my blanket was not plugged directly into a wall outlet it was not getting enough power and I needed to plug it into a wall outlet taking these steps:
1) Unplug from the surge protector/extension cord 2) Unplug from the blanket 3) Plug back into the blanket 4) Plug into a wall outlet
