Question about Maytag Dryers
I have checked fuse box. Looked on line, but I don't know which avenue to look further. Could it be tumbler related? The shudder/sound and int. light indicates power is fine? Please advise, thanks!
If thermal fuse ok you may have a problem with your interface board. Check thermal cut out, door switch and thermal fuse before suspecting board. Obviously need model to give you more accurate info.

Check spring tab behind door switch-if it's bent/out of adjustment, circuit will act like door is always open.
To confirm this, open door, set dryer to active setting, and hold in door switch; if it comes on, then it's either the spring tab, or the switch is malfunctioning

I fixed my own problem...I took the extra 4th wire(green) and attached it to the dryer body...There is a screw with the word ground stamped into the metal above it. This is right next to the panal where the cord goes into. I just unscrewed it and put my cable there and the dryer works perfect.....These things need to have a detailed diagram on the dryer....
