Inside the chuck you will find a screw (probably torx) this is a left hand screw (Remove clockwise)
Insert a 1/2" allen key into the chuck and using a hammer strike it to spin the chuck off (Standard thread - Counter-clockwise)
This drill has a keyless chuck. To remove the bit, just turn the chuck to the right (looking from the handle to the front) to open the jaws. To put in another bit, tighten the chuck to the left to close. You have to use both hands. You will see where the ridged portion of the chuck is in two sections. Hold on to the back section with your left hand to keep it from turning while you turn the front section with your right hand.
A lot of the time I just push the button to put the drill in reverse, hold on the front section of the chuck and turn it on. It will loosen by itself. Then when you put the new bit in, put it in forward and hold on to the chuck and press the switch. The bit will be in nice and tight.
Good luck, Mary.

I would make sure that the bit is firmly installed in the chuck, you should hear clicking when the bit is tightening, this is the chuck locking itself on the but.
and when going in reverse make sure you dont have your hand or have the chuck pressed against an object.
If nether of these are the problem then there may be a problem with the chuck itself and should be replaced.
The chuck can be removed and replaced with a new one. Unplug the drill. Insert a 5/16 in. or larger hex key into the chuck of the drill and tighten the chuck jaws securely. Tap the hex key sharply with a mallet in a clockwise direction. This will loosen the screw in the chuck for easy removal.
Insert the hex key into the chuck and tighten the chuck jaws securely. Tap sharply with a mallet in a counterclockwise direction. This will loosen the chuck on the spindle. It can now be unscrewed by hand.
I'm assuming this is a drill/driver but you did not indicate a model. If it's a keyless chuck, and most are, put the drill in reverse, hold the chuck housing near the body of the drill firmly and pull the trigger. the chuck jaws will open wide enough to remove the old bit and insert new one. To tighten, switch the drill into forward gear, hold the chuck and pull the trigger until the bit is firmly held in the jaws.
What you can try is some WD 40 spray into the chuck and then find a GOOD pair of gloves or a rag and hold the collar of the chuck either by hand or use the rag and a pair of channel locks to protect it and then use the tool motor slowly and see if that doesn't release it
grasp the chuck and put drill in reverse position and pull trigger gently this will open chuck and re-insert bit do same in forward to tighten bit into chuck
hi this should be reletively easy hold the end black bit with the sivler bit holde coming out not the black bit next to the yellow case on drill you hold the black part thats at end of drill by where the bit goes into not the black bit near the trigger hope i explain this ok. Hold this bit tight then put drill in reverse then press trigger a couple of times it might be tight but shouldnt be that tight it wont undo. 1 put in reverse 2 hold black plastic piece near where drill bit goes into 3 press trigger few times 4 this should undo it allowing you to put a bit in make sure its in reverse else you will just tighten it up more let me know if you need further assistance ok
