Hi rammjoe,
I'm not sure if you're reffering to the
password of the router or the password of the network or
Network Key. You don't need to worry listed below are all the sters on how to obtain both password.
If you want to obtain the
password or
security on your router you need to access the
Wireless Settings Page. To access the router page you need a working computer that is connected to the router. To access your router you need to use a computer that is connected to it. Open a
Browser then type
192.168.0.1 or
http://routerlogin.net. The Default username is
admin and the password is
password. Password is case sensitive.
Go to the
Wireless Tab select
Wireless Security under the
Security Mode you will see there
Network Key or Passphrase. The
Network Key serves as a
password or
security code on your network to make it secure. Go to the
Wireless Settings Page and look for the
Network Key or
Passphrase.
You can also reset the router to its factory state but you need to keep in mind that all settings will be back to its default settings. To reset the router press and hold the small reset button at the back of the router using a Pen or a Paper Clip for 15-30 seconds.
If this works dont forget to say thanks. Thanks for using Fixya.
