sounds like the flyback transformer needs to be resoldered.

THE flex that conects the LCD to the mother board is broken.

It appears that this failure could be in the power supply due to swelling/ bulging capacitors in the power supply.

Send the monitor. It's a power supply problem. My 15.4" LCD has the problem, too, whenever I move the monitor down, it powers off, and the menu disappears as well, but I'm going to fix the screen.

You need to check the horizontal IC for deffects, possibly and most likely there are dry joints on the legs of the Horizontal IC. Have all the legs on the IC soldered nicely, this shud sort out your problems as you say you hit the TV then works. Try this before replacing the IC

If you were to watch a DVD using a different input than the cable/satellite input, does the image also fade in and out? When the image disappears, are you able to view the TV's onscreen menu or does it disappear too? When the image comes back, does it look fine and is the brightness the same?

I didn't fix my problem but I cant pay for an answer. I'll figure it out somehow.

When you say no image this could mean anything from, snow picture, blank screen, blue screen. Also, dry joints on the PCB can cause such a problem. More especially on the picture tube board.
