Do you hear the pump starts turning?
If yes : some clothing is blocking the hose to the pump.
If no: electronical failure i.g. a relais on the programmer board.

SOURCE: water won't empty

Remove filter and within the sump is a finned cover screwed down with either a 10 or 20TX screw(starshape) remove the water with a kitchen syringe and check normally it's broken glass or seeds.Good luck.

Ice maker kitchen aid kuic18nnts won't pump water over chill plate. Replaced circulating pump still no water.

Hi,

Does the circulating pump- pump water? Remove the hose that goes to the spreader bar and run the unit again, if it moves water as a new pump should check for blockages in that hose and spreader tube. Get back to me if this doesn't work please. Personal email address [email protected]...

You need to blow air down the clear pressure tube to remove any blockages that prevent the water level from changing.

If you have replaced the pump with a new one and still no pump, check the hose from the washbowl to the pump. Usually a convoluted hose . It possibly has a blockage. Take the end of this hose off of the pump and check up it ....you might be surprised

sounds like you may have some blockage between the tub and pump or pump to stand pipe where water goes down the drain, check all these areas for blockage or kinked hoses

Doesn't always spin all water out

Check for blockage in outlet hose, and hose into pump, if you have a filter, check that also.If still no better, perhaps the spinner is less effective than it was because another problem could be manifesting itself, where by it will work o/k with small load, but can't cope with full load.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Wont pump water

If it did not pump at all I would say you had a bad pump. Try removing hoses and check for plug up. If there is no plug up, I would manually try to adjust the timer to see where in the cycle it does not pump. It could be a bad cycle timer.

Rinse cycle problem

if the water is still in the machine when it stops then yes there may be a blockage, if you can assure yourself 100% that there is not, then the pump should be faulty electrically, there is also the chance that the timer could be faulty, but check the pump works and there are no blockages or any objects are in any of the pipes, (remove them to check them) if blowing back up the pipe made it work, this confirms a blockage i have over 20 years experience in appliance repairs, double check what you believe you have checked before, it sometimes works, we all miss things sometimes
