I need to cancel my twitter account cause I forgot

I really can't help here. open a new account I guess.

1. Go to https://twitter.com/ and click the link "Forgot password?" that is under the login button.
2. You can enter your email address or your username there and you will receive a an e-mail from twitter shortly.
   
3. Click the reset your password button in your email that you received.
4. Type twice a new password for this account.
5. Finally, use this email address and password on your app in order to connect it to the specific account.

How to change your password while you're logged in:

1. From your logged in account, click on the profile icon in the upper right hand corner of your screen and selectSettings.
2. Click on the Password tab.
3. Enter your current password.
4. Choose your new password.
5. Save your changes by clicking Save changes.

Note: If you're able to log in but can't remember your password, you can send yourself a password reset email from the password settings page.

Scroll down and check the box next to Require personal information to reset my password.

This will require that you enter your account email address or mobile number, in addition to your username, in order to send a password reset email or SMS/text.

Recovering lost or forgotten password

go to their site and plug the account info you know in- when it fails click on forgot password and then use your e-mail you registered with. Twitter should email you instructions on resetting the password to the registered e-mail address.

If you changed your email account, you cant log in.

I would suggest to do the "forgot password" option but that wouldnt really help since you dont have that email address anymore

twitter offers a way to reset your password if forgotten in the login page click forgot password and use your email to recover your twitter account once done check your email (even spam folder) for a link to recover your account

Open an email account somewhere else (ex., Gmail, Juno, NetZero), and then you can use that new email address to reset your password on Yahoo. Good luck.

It's possible that someone intentionally or mistakenly used your e-mail address.

There's two things that you can do:

1. You can recover the password by clicking on forgot password to try to send a temporary password to your email address. You will be able to see what happened to the account that was created using your email address.

2. Best one is to create a new email address for Twitter.
